Edward Fitzpatrick


A British national based in London, he was granted a broker’s license before the age of 21, which led to a financial career creating instruments such as convertible debentures for investments into US companies, Discounted Bonds, as well as innovative Private Equity and Pre-venture Capital structures.

A social entrepreneur and investor, he funded the first oil exploration venture in the Sudan 20 years ago. He is the founder of eight private equity firms that have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in various businesses, ranging from infrastructure, health care, IT technology, luxury goods and media.

He is the Founder and Chairman of the Initial Licensing Contract Exchange (ILOCX), a trading platform where innovative companies list license offerings enabling investors to participate in these companies' growth through social media promotions.
